Ezra Zilcha
Born and raised in Netanya, Israel, Ezra Zilcha entered the diamond industry at just 16, apprenticing under his brother-in-law as a diamond cutter. His precision and eye for detail quickly stood out, and by 18 he was managing a team of cutters and mentoring new talent.
In 1988, Ezra met Debbie, an Phoenix native, and moved to Arizona where he founded EZ Diamond Imports — a company rooted in his deep industry knowledge and global connections. Over time, his reputation for integrity, quality, and personal care grew, taking him across the U.S. and building a network of loyal clients and friends.
As technology transformed the jewelry world, Ezra brought these advancements in-house. What began as a wholesale diamond operation evolved into a full-service custom jewelry studio — where pieces are crafted from scratch, entirely in-office. This shift opened the door to working closely with private clients, a part of the business that quickly became Ezra’s greatest passion.
Today, Ezra is known not just for the diamonds he sources, but for the relationships he builds. Every piece starts with a conversation, and his focus remains the same: to understand each client’s story and bring it to life with precision, care, and heart.

Joe Mangione
Joe Mangione grew up in Brooklyn, New York, surrounded by the world of fine jewelry. His father, a jeweler on Manhattan’s iconic 47th Street for over 40 years, introduced Joe to the craft at just 14 — starting with setting diamonds into pennies. From there, Joe’s passion grew. He moved from coin jewelry to pearls, then to model making, hand-carved waxes, jewelry repair, fabrication, and eventually casting.
At 20, Joe moved to Los Angeles, where he worked for Unagem — one of the largest jewelry manufacturers in the city at the time — honing his skills in a high-volume, high-standard environment.
His journey ultimately led him to Phoenix, Arizona, where he crossed paths with Ezra. Over the next 25 years, the two built a close friendship and a trusted working relationship. In 2015, Joe officially joined EZ Diamond Imports as the in-house jeweler and 3D CAD designer.
Joe’s mastery across every stage of jewelry production is rare in the industry. Most jewelers specialize in just one or two phases — but Joe understands the full process, from hand fabrication to the latest in digital design. His blend of traditional skill and cutting-edge technique brings an uncommon depth to every piece we create.
Shully Zilcha
Shully Zilcha officially joined EZ Diamond Imports in 2023, but his connection to the business began long before that. As the son of founder Ezra Zilcha, he grew up immersed in the world of diamonds, craftsmanship, and customer care.
He began training in 3D CAD design under master jeweler Joe Mangione in 2017, gaining hands-on experience that now plays a key role in how EZ Diamond serves its clients. After living in Miami with his wife, Rivky, he returned to Phoenix to join the family business full-time.
Today, Shully is part of the team that guides customers through the design process — helping translate ideas into pieces that feel personal, thoughtful, and beautifully made. He takes pride in continuing the legacy his father built — always bringing patience, care, and a steady hand to the process.
